Reclad your house

Refurbishing the exterior of your home can be as simple as a coat of paint, but changing the whole exterior facade adds a modern look without the expense of rebuilding.

One of the simplest ways to update the exterior of your home is to modernise the cladding system, with an added benefit in some situations such as increasing the exterior insulation for an ‘older’ low insulation residence.

Exterior Insulating systems are popular as many older residences have low internal wall insulation. The choices are to remove and replace the internal linings and insert insulation into the wall cavity, or add exterior insulation, at the same time modernizing the façade with a premium Rockcote Plaster finish, pre-coloured in your favourite Resene colour.

Regardless of your home's original structure, there's a cladding system to suit. Many residences are located on valuable or appreciating land and, while the original structure is sound, the exterior aesthetics are compromising the home's visual appeal and, ultimately, its value.

Claddings such as weatherboard, fibre cement sheeting, brick or concrete block can be refurbished using Rockcote's premium exterior plaster cladding systems, with a minimum of fuss.

The timber weatherboard-and-batten home featured here was built in the 1970s. Its dramatic facelift, by architect Chris Hadlee, was achieved with the BRANZ appraised Rockcote EPS Render System. As a complete supply and install solution incorporating its Resene-coloured Classico texture finish, Rockcote can save you time and money to add value to your residence.

All Rockcote systems are guaranteed and are applied by registered plasterers.
